Poster Title: Divorce or Dysfunction? Comparative Effects of Parental Conflict on Child Development
Biography: Kamelija Simeonova, MD, specialist in child and adolescent psychiatry born 1992 enrolled high school in her birth town. After finishing her high school, she started study at the Faculty of Medicine, “Ss. Cyril and Methodius“University in Skopje where she undergone undergraduate studies for general medicine. Several years prior to her residency program, she has been working in several institution such as: Department of Forensic Medicine, Department of Pediatric Surgery – University clini of Pediatric Surgery, University Clinic for Surgical diseases – Saint Naum Ohridski – Skopje. Back then in 2018 she started residency at the University Clinic for Psychiatry – Department of Pediatric and Adolescent psychiatry where in 2023 she becomes specialist in pediatric and adolescent psychiatry. Until this day, she is working at the Acibadem Sistina, Clinical Hospital in Skopje. She is Head of Department of Child and Adolscent Psychiatry. D-r Kamelija Simeonova is one of 3 specialists in our country and represents the core of this subdiscipline in modern psychiatry. Her main research of interests are Child and adolescent psychiatry, Cognitive behavior therapy, Psychoterapy counselling, CBT therapy, Psychosexual and Relationship Therapy. She is active member of Doctor’s Chamber of the Republic of North Macedonia, Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Mental Health – WHO, Psychwire – Beck, Pennsylvania, IACAPAP – International Association for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Allied Professions. Currently she is actively speaking German and English and she is a coauthor of dozens case reports, reviews and scientific articles.
